We have hunted dove for years and years so this is not new but none of us know the area well enough to feel confident about just showing up and hunting. I realize there are tons of farms out there and we would love to sit on a field but how welcome are strangers to walk onto an open field? Raffles, contests, restaurants, special stores to hit? If any one can hook us up with some info that would be amazing! We are really looking forward to this season as this will be the first time we all have the time off and we want to make it memorable.

I'll be on vacation from the 1st to the the 8th, then again next week Thurs-Sun. Should have quite a few in the freezer! you definitely have to watch inexperienced 'flat shooters' who just swing and shoot it gets quite exciting when hundreds are flying at once.
